the ART LOCKER art MARKETS
We're back with another Art Market!
The days are getting shorter... Not The Art Locker's Demons & Angels Art Market though! Meet a monster, find some magic, buy yourself a little treat!
We will have 30+ vendors selling prints, stickers, ceramics, stationery, apparel, and other goods they created!
Thank you for all your support so far. Please do help spread the word about our event, the more the merrier!
Mask Policy
We are a masked event! We will be supplying masks to attendees when they check in to our event space, but encourage you to bring your own masks!
Attendees are allowed to briefly unmask to eat and drink, but we do expect you to try to keep your masks on as much as possible during our event!
Lines / Wait Time
There will be two ways to enter our market, either with (1) a guaranteed entry timeslot ticket or (2) by lining up for free day of.
(1) If you show up during the timeslot your ticket is valid for, you will be guaranteed entry. There are a limited number of both free and paid timeslot tickets. If you do not make your timeslot, you will be able to join the free line.
(2) If you do not get a ticket, you can always wait in a line for free day of! The idea is that as timeslot ticket holders trickle out, we will be able to let people in from the free line as we wait for the next batch of timeslot tickets to arrive and be processed. We have previously also run into issues with people not showing up to events if they are holding a free ticket, so the free line should help mitigate that.
If you do not manage to snag a ticket, you can still RSVP to get event reminders and a free sticker!

Frequently Asked Questions
What are THE ART LOCKER Art Markets?
Founded by Mielzy, THE ART LOCKER Art Markets are our way of organizing independent artists to create events that are fun for attendees and vendors alike. After all, another market in NYC is always a welcome thing!
When is your next market?
Our markets happen twice a year. We will announce each market in our Discord server and our Instagram. Keep up with us there!
How do I apply to be a vendor?
When vendor applications are available, we will post them in our Discord server and our Instagram. They will be open for a specified time interval. To ensure equity in the selection process, we will not accept late applications.
Who can vend at THE ART LOCKER Markets?
We welcome makers of all kinds! We prioritize small artists and handmade businesses.
Who can't vend?
We do not allow reselling, vintage clothing, proxy selling, drop-shipping, genAI, stolen work, or anything else we deem inappropriate.
How much does it cost to vend at THE ART LOCKER Markets?
Vendor fee will vary based on the cost of the market. We aim to stay in the $75-$150 range per full 6ft table, or around $40-$75 per 3ft half-table.
Are the markets free to attend?
Yes! We do not charge for entry. We also will not cap total attendee count, as we want to ensure as many people can enter the market as possible. This does mean that although we will not be capping total event attendance, we may need to implement crowd control measures that may result in a wait before attendees can enter. We appreciate your patience on this front, and will try our best to give everyone a heads up on the wait situation if there is one.
Do I have to RSVP to attend?
While RSVP-ing is not required for attendees, RSVP-ing helps us gauge headcount!
Can I bring my pet to the market?
Whether you can bring your pet or not depends on the venue.
We will try our best to accommodate service animals, but please do be aware that there may be crowding issues that we cannot anticipate ahead of time that your service animal may need to navigate.
Can I bring my child to the market?
Yes! However, please be mindful that we allow vendors to display artistic nudity in full and censored erotic nudity. If there are any performances at the event (e.g. panels), there may be discussions of 16+ topics, which we will try our best to flag.
Are masks required?
Our art market is a masks-required event! We will be supplying masks to attendees when they check in to the event space, but encourage you to bring your own masks! Here is a guide (click me!) for purchasing masks if helpful.
Attendees are allowed to briefly unmask to eat and drink, but we do expect you to try to keep your masks on as much as possible during our event!
Is cosplay allowed?
Yes, cosplay is allowed! We just ask that you keep in mind that this event allows children to attend, and that you make sure that your cosplay will not knock over any displays and is mindful of the limited navigable indoor space since this is not a convention!
